Dreaming of what’s ahead and rejoicing in what God has done! 2021 Blessings

God bless you dear friends and family. We are filled with JOY. We want to share with you what God has been doing through your partnership. Here are the BIG WINS for us for 2021.

God gives us an incredible Christmas Gift in the form of New Beginnings Church from Grayson, KY. They come to work on our property and do in a few days what would have taken us months and thousands of dollars to complete. THANK YOU!

We also want to say a GIANT “MUCHAS GRACIAS” to Pastor Kyle Burchett and New Beginnings church from Grayson, KY, who unexpectedly came to our property the week of Christmas. He brought heavy equipment, and a team full of men wearing beanies and steel-toed boots. When you see that many trucks and beards in one place, you know something good is gonna happen!

They took out multiple trees, fixed sinks, burned mountains of trash, cleaned out stalls, hung drywall, moved boulders, flattened out hills, and the list GOES ON.

Here is a year-end summary of the great things GOD is doing through his body, the church!

Winter/Spring 2021

  • Made plans to start Restaurant Meetings/ Bible Studies reaching Hispanics whose schedule doesn’t allow them to go to church

  • Promoted Radio Station

  • Still under many restrictions due to Covid

  • FCC Announces they will allow churches to apply for radio frequencies!

  • Hosted pastoral family in transition into ministry in KY here in one of our cabins.

  • Praying that God will send a Hispanic Minister to lead ministry in Grayson!

  • Readied the two cabins and duplex for Missions team

First Radio Latido Training for pastors and Leaders

Alex & Jorge from Mexico City

SUMMER

June

  • Conectate Event for churches.

  • Restrictions lifted from Covid, pastors receive encouragement and are blessed by fellowship.

  • Two healings take place at event Glory to God!

July

  • Missions Team comes! BAM! Thank you Pastor Jared and Iglesia Avivamento for your labors of love! They worked hard at two churches, remodeling a church in Hodgenville and forming relationships to start Hispanic Ministry in Hodgenville and at Soul’s Harbor, in Bardstown, Ky.

  • They provided encouragement and evangelist effort in two communities. Pastor John from Freedom’s Way AG in Hodgenville told us that after years of sowing into missions, God was showing them a time of reaping in their church. This was a great encouragement to him as a small-town rural pastor, to see a group committed to helping their church and reaching their community.

  • A New Hispanic Ministry in Hodgenville, KY is helped as the group handed out over 600 flyers to services. Pastors Gilbert and Nancy Hidalgo are established at Freedom’s Way and their group is starting to grow.

  • Continued Ministry in Grayson, KY. Continued prayer for the Lord to send a Hispanic Pastor.

August

  • We contracted Covid and were quarantined!

  • God miraculously sent us at just the right moment an amazing couple called by God to minister in Eastern Ky.

After selling their beautiful home in West Virginia and buying a house in a holler in the hills of Kentucky, God directs pastor Carlos and Gladys Rodríguez to our ministry through divine circumstances. Knowing hardly anyone, they see our number on a flyer in a Mexican Store, and call us up, asking when services are, and asking how they can help. They are spirit-filled, anointed by God, and have many years of pastoral experience. The hispanic ministry we have been driving to over three hours away for seven months is only 30 minutes from their home.

GOD DID IT! He answered our prayers!!!!

Fall/Winter

Sept

  • Conectate Event with District Superintendent.

  • Doors open and we aid Pastor Jehu Garcia to start another Restaurant Bible Study in Georgetown, KY.

  • Hispanic Heritage Month- Radio Latino promotes churches ministries in Kentucky.

November

  • Promotion of Radio Latido, working on applications for frequencies. Over 13 churches apply for a frequency.

  • Start working on Parent-Affiliated-Church (PAC) structure for multi-cultural churches in this ministry network.

  • Start preparations to host Conectate Ministry Christmas retreat on our Property.

December

  • Conectate Ministry Retreat was a great time of fellowship and encouragement. We had a powerful time of prayer and a very timely word from one of our executive presbyters.

  • Terrible tornado rips through Kentucky. We were able to connect with an AG Hispanic church in Bowling Green, Ky. Through collaboration from various network churches, we bring a trailer loaded with kerosene heaters, generators, and other supplies to help hold people over until FIMA could get there. This also helped us establish a better relationship with the Hispanic church in that area. They are hard at work helping people whose homes and lives have been impacted from the tornado.

  • God gives us an incredible Christmas Gift in the form of New Beginnings Church from Grayson, KY. Unexpectedly, Christmas week, they come to work on our property and do essentially in a few days what would have taken us months and thousands of dollars to complete. THANK YOU!

  • WE ARE GRANTED A HIGH POWER FM RADIO FREQUENCY (88.1) in Hodgenville, KY!!! God moved us in 2020 to Hodgenville, Ky. Hodgenville is the only frequency out of 13 applications across the state that was granted! We are SO excited to see the plans that the Lord has for this area!!!!

Two new Hispanic Ministries were established in Hodgenville Ky, at Freedom's Way Church,

and in Grayson KY at New Beginnings

PRAY FOR US

  • Pastor Stephen Khai and his Burmese congregation lost their church rental location in the tornado. They do not have a place to meet. Pray that God would provide a place for their church to meet that is able to meet their budget.

  • Pray for funds for radio equipment and a radio tower! GOD WILL DO IT!

  • Pray for church growth and organization among our Hispanic Ministries. Covid precautions has limited many traditional methods for evangelization and growth.
