Fully Commisioned: January - April Newsletter

Watch Fabian and Rebekah being appointed as US Missionaries.

Fully Commisioned!

Last month we traveled to Springfield, Missouri, to be part of the “GO US Missions Conference” for additional training, and to be commissioned as Fully Appointed US Missionaries of the Assemblies of God. It was a great time of fellowship and encouragement! This means we have the green light to get going with the Hispanic Initiative and its endeavor! This was a big milestone for us and we are so thankful for your prayers and God’s faithfulness through this process! THANK YOU JESUS!!!

NEW OPPORTUNITIES TO MAXIMIZE KINGDOM RESOURCES

As we continue to push forward with the Hispanic Initiative, the Lord continues to show us his favor and has open additional ministry doors for us. The Kentucky Ministry Network has asked Fabian to become the Director of their newly created Multicultural Ministries Department. We will focus on the Hispanic Initiative, but believe that as we create ministry resources for Hispanic Ministries, we can multiply by using them for other ethnic ministries.

TWO MONTHS SHORT

In Our family is doing well, and we are in the final sprint for Rebekah’s pregnancy. Our baby is due in June, so we’re only 8 weeks short, and awaiting our third boy with expectation! We have been thinking about names, and we are considering the idea of a name that refers to God as our Healer. Stay tuned if you want to discover the name. Follow our Facebook page for frequent updates and news on our ministry and family!.

STARTING 2019 WITH A MISSIONS TEAM FROM TEXAS IN KENTUCKY

Last month, we had the privilege to host our first missions team from TX to KY, Iglesia Avivamiento Cristiano (Revival Christian Church). Pastor Jared Peña and his team came to Kentucky to serve two projects, one in London and another in Bedford.

Twenty-eight members of the team were split into two groups, where they did some construction work, evangelism, and preached the Gospel at each location. This was a blessing to all three congregations that were involved.

In London, Pastor Carlos and his congregation were inspired to continue with the Hispanic Ministry they started 8 years ago. Pastor Carlos said, although few in number, the Lord called them to reach Hispanics in rural America; and the missions trip brought a lot of much needed spiritual encouragement to their congregation.

In Bedford, Pastor Joel, who moved from Florida to rural Kentucky to pastor a small church, was encouraged by a Hispanic Missions Team who came to serve his congregation. Brother Joel and his congregation were great hosts and together with this team they did house to house evangelism, breaking cultural norms and letting their community know that there is something different and unique happening in their church.

The Missions Team from IAC in Texas was excited to see how the Lord was able to use them. For many of them, this was their first missions trip, and many tears were shed as they were blessed to be a blessing.

Please pray for us:

• For the health of Rebekah and the baby

• For strength and wisdom for our team as we close the year

• For our first church plant in Kentucky
