The Sanchez Family - Hispanic Initiative
Dear friends and family, these last couple of months have been months of confirmation and growth. We have seen how God has been moving throughout rural Kentucky, and we are solidifying how we in the Hispanic Initiative will be ministering through the state. God has also given us a new team member, and has been increasing our prayer and financial partners. We are now over 90% of our ministry budget and soon we will start planting new ministries!
Thanks to your prayers and support we continue to see God’s faithfulness and provision, and our family is healthy, excited, and humbled by your support. Thank you!
NEW TEAM MEMBER
Your prayers are being answered, as God has brought the first addition to our ministry team! We welcome our friend and brother in Christ, Alex Toledo. We met Alex back in Dallas TX, during our Bible School days. He is from Mexico City, MX and with a background in missions, worship, and evangelism, Alex has both the skills and the heart for the Hispanic Initiative. Alex speaks three languages, holds two bachelor degrees (Graphic Design and Bible Theology) and has a call to ministry. Thanks to your prayers and support, he is now part of our ministry team.
HELP IS ON THE WAY
Pastor Jared Peña, a friend of ours, is pastor of IAC church in Dallas TX, and has the desire to see his local church understand and get involved in missions. We connected him with Pastor Carlos, from London, KY, whose church is meeting in a basement. Next spring break, a team from IAC in Dallas is coming to help them condition their children’s area, build some walls, and help paint the church. We believe we will see more and more churches coming and blessing the local church in rural areas in Kentucky.
WHERE SHOULD I SEND THEM?
In one of our visits to a church, I met a Hispanic lady. She goes to Walmart to find people to talk to about the Lord, and shares the Gospel with them. She led 5 Hispanic people to the Lord, but she did not know of a single Spanish-speaking church to send them to! The great news is that her pastor had JUST talked to us about starting a Hispanic Ministry in their church! We will come alongside this ministry to help disciple Hispanic people and lead them to Christ!
