Family Update: It's a BOY!!

It was almost nine months ago that we officially started our ministry support raising. Around that same time we learned the exciting news that we were expecting baby number three! We know many of you have joined us in prayer for a healthy delivery and a healthy baby. Thank you!!!!!!

We are very happy and thankful to say that the newest addition to our ministry team is here!! Little Fabian Neal Sanchez Gordon, weighing in at 8 lbs, 6 oz, and 20 3/4 in. long, has arrived! He is one of our three treasures, thank you Jesus! Samuel, our first born, and Belén, our little princess, both wanted to bring him home the day they saw him at the Hospital. Mama and the baby were both released the next day and are now at home with the rest of our family. Please continue to pray for our family- for a healthy and speedy recovery for Rebekah, and as you meet our newest partner, Baby Fabian, please pray to see if the Lord would lead you to partner with us in ministry.

We are currently at 44% of our budget!! Praise the Lord!!! We need to be at 60% of our monthly budget by December 25th. We still need 16%, or about $1400, in monthly commitments. There are two ways for you to partner: First and most importantly- Prayer.

Secondly- Monthly Financial Support. We have been called to live by faith, and as we walk in ministry we understand that it is the faith of the church and obedience of many that the Lord uses to move mountains.

Will you consider joining our ministry partnership team? To partner, click here.

To those of you you have been faithfully praying and financially supporting our ministry, THANK YOU!!!! We will continue to pray for you.

Ministry Update!!!

This was a full month for us as we were able to attend our District Fall Councils, had eight church services and met with many individuals to share our ministry vision to Inspire and equip the church to plant, grow, and develop Hispanic ministries. One of the services where I shared this month was "Loving Assembly of God," a small rural church here in Texas. As I shared part of my testimony, a lady recommitted her life to the Lord. Praise God!

This church is pastored by 93 yr. old Pastor Hankins and his wife. They have been in ministry for over 50 years. Their congregation has faithfully promoted and supported missions probably longer than I been alive. To see a small church with an average attendance of about 20 and a little under $700 in weekly giving is inspiring. As I walked their small building I noticed different newspaper articles framed and mounted on the wall that spoke about a, "Little Church with a Big Heart." A church with a heart for missions that has for many years impacted the world and is supporting many missionary

ministries. My heart was touched when I noticed that Pastor Hankins, who again is 93 years old, is using a walker, and every Sunday to enter his church has to go up about five steps. It seems like a difficult task for him, but one that didn't phase this seasoned and courageous pastor. During the service my mind was wondering what I could to to help this pastor and congregation so faithfully committed to missions for so many years, and I felt led to set up a one or two day missions day for this congregation.

Our vision for this project is 1) build a ramp for the elderly, 2) do some interior repairs and paint the exterior, 3) raise a love offering for Pastor Hankins and his wife.

(PLEASE WATCH THE HANKINS PROJECT VIDEO)

I have shared this with our district missions department and other missionaries and they want to bless and help this little church. We are now putting together a team of volunteers that would want to join us to help with the repairs and project. If the Lord would move in your heart to send a love offering to the Hankins project please let me know. We can have this money sent to our district office and make sure this is tax deductible for you.

Our Vision is to honor the Hankins with something meaningful and have a one or two-day church repair project : Church location TX-114, Loving, Texas, 76460

  • We need to build a stair ramp and do some interior/exterior painting and repairs.

  • We have someone that is willing to bring a trailer full of tools so what we really need is the manpower and material to do it.

  • We are thinking about a possible day of work??? it should take form one to possibly two days depending on the number of people and their experience. WHAT WORKS FOR YOU GUYS?

Possible days (Oct 27th, 28th, or 29th)

  • We are personally giving $175

  • Total cost Around $1700

  • Number of people needed 8

  • Donations needed $1525

"'that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. John 17:21

Prayer Needs

Please be in prayer for us, as we need to be at 60% of our monthly budget by December 25th. We are currently at 44%. We still need 16%, or about $1400, in monthly commitments. If you have been thinking about partnering with us, this is the time!
