Dear friends and family,

God bless you! January has seen us helping with Vida Abundante church plant, reworking our website, and continuing work with the radio station. We are working to get three radio towers up this year, which involves a lot of meetings, driving, and sharing our vision. Also, Fabian had to travel to Texas to be with his mother as she continues to battle liver cancer. We appreciate your prayers and ask you to continue lifting her up in prayer.

Pastor Alex & Pastor Carlos returning from the Radio Latido Prison Ministry!

Radio Latido Prison Ministry

We are so happy to let you know that the prison ministry remains active despite the ice and snow of this bizarre winter season. Please pray for our incarcerated listeners- all are far from their children and families, and many are far from their homeland. Please pray that God would use what for many of them is the lowest moment of their lives to touch them, and they would respond to his call! Twenty-one inmates responded at the altar call and invitation to walk with Jesus after Pastor Carlos shared the Gospel this past Thursday.

Simultaneous translation from English to Spanish

Vida Abundante Church Plant Lebanon, KY

A Venezuelan man took Pastor Alex aside after the meeting, visibly moved by the message. He shared that his wife, mother, and daughter were also incarcerated at the same time he was. For a while he had Spanish-speaking cell-mates, but soon they were sent to another prison. He remained the only Spanish-speaker in his cell.  The isolation of not knowing the language and being in prison, not knowing what will happen to his family or himself, was very discouraging but he now knew he had hope. He thanked Alex for the support and encouragement that it brings to hear the radio in Spanish. His words were, “It gives me hope and I know that God is still with me.”
