Family Update!!!

Answering the call to ministry as US Missionaries is an honor, and is full of new experiences for the family. We caught Samuel, our oldest, trying out the word, "missionary" several times after a missions banquet. My wife and I looked at each other and smiled as it brought joy to our hearts. Family is primary to our call to ministry and we are very thankful for your encouragement and support. Thank you! Belen, baby number two, is almost one and taking her first steps. She is the princess of the house and without a doubt will have us chasing after her before we know it! Please continue to pray for Rebekah and our new baby who should arrive later this year sometime in October.

Partnership and Ministry Update!!!

Fundraising can be fun, exciting, and challenging all at the same time. As we continue to share our hearts and ministry vision with friends, family and churches it is humbling and encouraging to see how God is moving in your hearts to partner with us in this divine mission.

Vision

We are called to inspire and equip the church to plant, grow, and develop Hispanic ministries throughout the U.S. starting in Kentucky.

Story

We were sharing at a missions convention in a local church and towards the end there was a time for questions and answers. Many of the questions were from non-Hispanics who wanted to learn more about how to reach Hispanics and bring them in to the kingdom of God and their local church family.

This was encouraging to us because we saw a church that is willing to learn and give of their time, money, and efforts to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to Hispanics in practical and loving ways. As we were able to answer some of their questions we saw people being inspired to move forward in their ministry call for Hispanics. However, the truth is that there is a lack of practical ministry training and organization in strategy for Hispanic ministries. These are times when racial tensions are high and our communities are in need of the love of Jesus Christ through the church.

"'By this everyone will know you are my disciples, if you love one another" John 13:35

With your continual support we hope to partner with experienced ministers and ministries that focus on bringing the gospel to Hispanics in practical and spiritual ways. Part of our vision is to maximize their experience and resources to inspire and equip the church with God inspired strategic plans.

As we continue to work together as ministry partners, some who send and others who go, we continue to build a bond of friendship and ministry that is like none other. Thank you!

Could you please pray for us?

-Please pray for a healthy baby and a healthy delivery.

-Pray that the ministry would be finance quickly and that God would continue to move in the hearts of people as we present the opportunity for them to partner with us in ministry.

-Pray that God would fuse together a strong leadership team and core group of people for the Hispanic Initiative in Kentucky.
